Marvel Comics Team Up Again again with Harley-Davidson for Iron Man 3

Marvel Comics has teamed up with Harley-Davidson once more for another cross-promotion. Previously with 2011’s “Captain America: The First Avenger” and last year’s “The Avengers”, this year both companies worked together to support and promote Marvel’s upcoming superhero movie Iron Man 3: Man & Machine.

“When man and machine unite, freedom and power awaken”. They have collaborated to give fans a chance to ride into an Avengers mission with Iron Man, a trip to Comic-Con International in San Diego, and win a custom Harley-Davidson Street Bob motorcycle. Read more

2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout

Today at the 2013 Daytona Bike Week, Florida, Harley-Davidson is introducing its new Breakout motorcycle. The 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout is a premium model in its segment, and like the the 2013 CVO (Custom Vehicle Operation) version which was unveiled this past summer, this OE (Original Equipment) version also offers low and muscular profile.

The main difference between the EO and CVO model is the engine. The 2013 Harley-Davidson Breakout is powered by Harley-Davidson‘s 103B counter-balanced V-Twin engine producing 95.5 ft. lbs. of torque rather than the CVO version’s larger Twin Cam 110B Screamin’ Eagle engine. Its 103B engine is connected to a 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission, and features Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection (ESPFI) and Automatic Compression Release (ACR). Read more

2013 Harley-Davidson Limited Edition 110th Anniversary Models Announced_1

Next year, Harley-Davidson will celebrate its 110th Anniversary, and to celebrate it the Company has announced its 2013 line of motorcycles, featuring ten models of limited edition 110th anniversary bikes (seven of its standard models and three of the four 2013 CVO models). According to the Company, the Harley-Davidson Limited Edition 110th Anniversary Models will be “strictly limited to ensure exclusivity.” Read more
