Yamaha has unveiled its newest 125cc family-use motorcycle in India. Called the 2015 Yamaha Saluto, the new family-use motorcycle comes with practical performance at an affordable price. It is powered by a new engine a more compact combustion chamber than previous 125cc models released by Yamaha.
Its 125cc air-cooled, four-stroke, SOHC, two-valve engine produces 8,3hp at 7000rpm and 10,1Nm of torque at 4500rpm. The Saluto is lightweight at only 112kg, thanks to its thoroughly-lightweight design, which in turn improves fuel economy by approximately 10% as compared to the previous models Yamaha ever made in its class.
Furthermore, the 2015 Yamaha Saluto 125cc gets new suspension, footrests and seat, offering better comfort. It also has a new resin tank cover.
The new 2015 Yamaha Saluto 125cc will be available in two color options: Victory Red and Brave Black. The Saluto will be manufactured and sold starting this month by India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. Each is priced for 52,000 Indian Rupees.
