Star Motorcycles has unveiled its new “modern interpretations of old school bobbers”, the 2014 Star Motorcycles Bolt and Bolt R-Spec. Both all-new “Performance Bobbers” are powered by an air-cooled, fuel-injected, 58-cubic-inch (950cc), V-Twin engine mounted in a double-cradle frame and mated to a five-speed gearbox. According to Star, it also has belt drive and steel fenders, providing the perfect platform for personalization.
The Star all-new Bolt and Bolt R-Spec cruisers offer perfect combination of unique style, comfort, and performance, making them the perfect choice for those who are looking for Harley-davidson alternative. Both cruisers feature include front and rear single 298mm disc, a low seat at 27.2 inches, short wheel base at 61.8 inches, non-adjustable 41mm forks and twin rear shocks, wave-type brake rotors, a smoked-lens digital meter, and a 3.2 gallon fuel tank that promises around 150 miles of range.
The 2014 Star Motorcycles Bolt comes in two color options: Raven and Pearl White, each costs 7,990 and will be available in dealerships starting in April.
The 2014 Star Motorcycles Bolt R-Spec model adds remote-reservoir shocks at rear, a suede-type seat with colored stitching, as well as special paint and graphics. Bolt R-Spec is also available in two color options: Matte Grey and Camo Green, and will hit dealerships starting in July for $8,290.
