All these handsome bikes were developed and built by CR&S (Café Racers and Superbikes). Introducted in EICMA motorcycle show last mounth, the CR&S Duu Alegher, Duu Nottenbia and Duu Sbirluscenta are truly “an innovative motorcycle, “modular and muscular”, with durable materials and components, equipped with a powerful, rugged and reliable engine.”
All bikes are powered by the S&S ‘X-Wedge’ air-cooled OHV 1916cc American-made V-twin engine that delivers 91bhp at 5100rpm and 148Nm of torque at 2,500-4,700rpm. Baker gearbox available with 5 or 6 speeds. Weighing at around 540.133 pound (dry), and has 15.5 litres of fuel tank capacity, the CR&S’s Duu is capable of hitting a top speed of more than 125 mph.
The CR&S Duu Alegher, Duu Nottenbia and Duu Sbirluscenta use the same chassis and the single-sided swingarm, which made of one big-section stainless steel tube (107,5 mm) and (90 mm), respectively. The standard 17-inch machined-alloy wheels are wrapped with 190/55 (rear) and 120/70 (front) tyres.
Other features include a 320mm Wave double floating disks with radial 4 pistons brake calipers (front), a 260 mm single brake disk with 2 pistons floating caliper (rear), a 48mm USD fork at the front that adjustable for rebound damping and spring preload, and a fully adjustable monoshock at the back.
The difference between CR&S Duu Nottenbia (37,000 euros), Duu Alegher (41,000 euros) and Duu Sbirluscenta (47,000 euros) are their suspension and braking components, though now words on specific details.
