At the ‘Tridays’ festival held in Austria, Triumph Motorcycles has revealed its new bike, the new Trophy 1200 touring bike.
The new 2013 Trophy 1200 touring bike is powered by a 1251cc three-cylinder motor, delivering 132 hp at 8,900 rpm and 120 Nm (89 lb-ft) of torque. Basically, it is the same engine found in the Triumph Explorer, however, the Trophy’s 6th gear is longer, in an effort to aid its high-speed cruising capacity.
The bike will be available in two versions: the standard and the ‘SE’. The SE version comes equipped with electronically-adjustable suspension, ride-by-wire throttle, traction control, electronic cruise control, ABS, tire pressure monitoring system, along with numerous other features.
